1月6日，中国足协公布了2025赛季职业联赛准入资格，49家俱乐部获得准入，沧州雄狮、广州队、湖南湘涛未在列。

其后，沧州雄狮和湖南湘涛发表了解散公告，广州队官方目前尚未发声。

据悉，广州队没被通过准入，除了欠薪，还有俱乐部经营风险的问题，三家俱乐部都已经被列为失信被执行人，而广州队，一直面临着一个天坑：当初母公司恒大集团对俱乐部的巨额投入，都被列为俱乐部的债务，即使俱乐部和欠薪球员能达成和解，但都无法解决这个根本问题。
